Welcome Home Uncle Spencer!

My little brother Spencer got home from his mission in California on the 6th so the boys and I drove down to see him. Spencer's was sure roughin' it in all those little surf and beach towns he served in...I mean really living the hard life. His last city was Dana Point and he made it a point to send home beautiful pictures of the sunset on the ocean just about every week.

We went to the airport with all my siblings and their children with signs and big smiles. It was so awesome to see him! My cousin April took pictures so we could focus on talking to him again.
Austin played hide-and-seek with my Great Aunt Lois while we were waiting and Ethan played toys cars with his gang of boy cousins on the floor until Spencer arrived.
Austin was only 6 months old and Ethan barely 2yrs old when Spencer left so they only know him through pictures that they've seen and his missionary picture which has been on our fridge for the last two years.
He looks so good! We went back to my parents house, which was all decorated for him.
Spencer will always be my little brother. No matter how much taller he is than me!
My older brother, Kevin has been looking after Spencer's motorcycle and had the seat recovered and everything all tuned up and ready for him.

He gave a wonderful talk on Sunday and so many of my cousins, aunts, and uncles came over after church to talk with him. It was so fun to see everyone since we weren't able to go to our family reunion this year. I only got this picture of Austin enjoying his ice cream with his older cousins Tucker and Parker.
We're so excited he's home and he's headed back up to Utah State (he'll live in our old house up there even though we already sold it) and hopefully he'll get to come see us in Washington once our store opens. We sure missed him!!
