The room wasn't completely refurnished when we left. It still needed new drapes and some new lighting. It really looks like a completely different room with new paint, baseboards, and no bright orange drapes!We also started remodeling their hallway between the kitchen and his mom's daycare, however, we ran into a few snags. It rained almost the entire time, so the paint wasn't dry on the baseboards and doorframes, which we painted on the back patio. We ran out of paint so we only paint the bottom of the walls and weren't able to finish the top half or the ceiling. Or I painted all I could reach, which was the middle and the bottom as the picture shows.
Paint clothes are so attractive! I'm wearing my capris and one of Dan's high school shirts tied back with a hair tie since it's too big.
I think Dan's paint clothes probably take the cake though. As he puts it, "I fit right in with all the other southern Texans."
I guess it'll be the project for the next time we go to Texas!
