Superbowl Shenanigans

In the past, the Superbowl has never really been of intense interest to me. I looked forward to the funny commercials more then the actual game. However, once I married Dan the Superbowl became much more important than "just another football game". The first year of our marriage, my sister's family came up to Logan and watched the game with us on our giganto TV before we sold it. The second year, Dan won tickets to actually go to the Superbowl and we ended up in South Beach, Miami, FL. Sounds like fun, huh?

 Well, looks can be decieving.

The Superbowl was fun in itself. I have to admit that the front row upperbowl tickets were pretty awesome and the game was entertaining.  The issues were first, I was pregnant and just getting over morning sickness, second, South Beach is really not the place for a prego wife and non-drinking hubby, and third, did I mention morning sickness? And there was the drunken fans, the increasingly annoying rant of "Who Dat" for the New Orleans Saints, and having to walk like 6 miles to get to a ride back to the hotel and having that ride take 4 hours when it should have been 30 min.

This year, however, Dan and I were content to sit in the comfort in our living room eating leftover Chili's BBQ wings and GF brownies and laughing at the commercials. Quite a different take from last year. I think I prefer the low-toned approach of this year the best!

Ethan was pretty happy about it!
