My Best Friend's Wedding!

This past weekend, one of my best friends, Ciara and her fiance Dustin, got married in the SLC Temple. Ciara and I met up in Jackson Hole in 2007 when we were both working seasonal summer jobs there. Our friend, Heather T., introduced us and we've been really close friends ever since! I was so happy that I could be at her wedding. She wasn't able to attend my wedding since she was on her mission so this meant a lot to me that I could be there for hers. She even asked me to be a bridesmaid, which I was happy to do!

Dan was able to get the Friday off of work so he could be there with me. So we both we able to be there all day. We attended the sealing at the temple and took a bunch of pictures with her on the grounds. Friday turned out to be a beautiful clear day with no snow/sleet/rain. It was just a little breezy and cold.
Waiting for Ciara and Dustin with Heather T.

Friends of the Bride!
The lunch was at Tucanos Brazilian Grill at the Gateway Mall, which was fantastic! I absolute love the grilled pineapple there and made sure to eat my fill! Afterwards, we went to my Mom and Dad's house so I could get ready for the reception and pictures.

She had her reception at the Alpine Art Museum. We took a ton of pictures outside and then Heather, Megan and I all helped out with getting everything ready for the reception to start.

 So happy...
Dan stayed at the reception with me the whole time. It was so nice to have him there. Ethan got to spend the whole day with his Grandma Foster.

The whole reception was beautiful and turned out great! I loved her decorations and flowers. Her parents gave us a huge flower arrangement with about 3 dozen white roses to take home at the end of the reception. So now they are sitting in my kitchen looking gorgeous and smelling amazing!

Such a wonderful day! I'm so excited for Ciara and Dustin to start their life together. It really is a new adventure. The best part is that they will be living in Benson, which isn't far from Logan, so I'll still get to see her fairly often!

I remember meeting Ciara at Ethan's blessing. She is such a cute girl. She looked beautiful and the bridesmaid dresses are cute. I am glad you had such a fun day.
