They started out our field trip on a tractor-pulled hayride to a pumpkin patch where the kids could pick their own pumpkins. Ethan had fun running around with his friend Hunter trying to find the perfect pumpkin. Austin loved the tractor and kept trying to go back to the hayride.
Once they found their pumpkins, the tractor took us back to the other attractions. The kids got to run through a hay maze. It was funny watching Ethan take off with his friend and then watching their little heads bobbing over the walls as they tried to find their way out.

The pyramid had big plastic tunnels near the top and the kids had a blast running in and out of them and popping out on a different side of the pyramid.
After the pyramid, our group went to the petting zoo. Austin was ecstatic. He didn't stop smiling the whole time and was so excited to see and pet the pigs, rabbits, goats, and sheep.
Once the kids had all cleaned off their hands, we got to sit down under a pavillion on some hay bales and they passed out cookies and juice. I've never seen a happier bunch of kids. And they really were smiling when they weren't busy stuffing their faces with their cookies.
We walked around inside the Mercantile for a few minutes so the kids could sample some of the flavored popcorn before heading home. They had so much fun on their first field trip!

Cute kids. I love Ethans orange vest. I just cleaned the little boys room/clothes and have a big bin ready for you when we see you next.
