Dan and I went up to the game. We stayed overnight in Pullman and got to go see Catching Fire. It was awesome. Then Saturday we took the shuttle up to campus for the game. It was FREEZING! I was so cold the entire time. I couldn't feel my toes for most of the game and my fingers felt like they were going to fall off until some nice man gave me a set of hand warmers. Dan was bummed that the Utes lost but we still managed to enjoy seeing them play.
Since my Mom was in town, we managed to get in some shopping time before heading down to Utah for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, Dan had to stay in Pasco to work. He arranged his shifts so we could take a few weeks of in December for Christmas but had to work through Thanksgiving. The boys got in a lot of quality Dad time before we left.
Cute little Austin.
And his cute little mullet.
We gave him a haircut that night.
My dad's band, The Ken Foster Trio, had a recording session that week so his drummer left his drums at the house overnight. The boys had a lot of fun pretending to play.
Ethan took his turn at the piano just like "Papa" Foster.
My parents hosted Thanksgiving dinner at their house. Once my siblings' kids arrived, Ethan and Austin ran off with all their little cousins. This was a common sight to see Cole, Blake, Ethan, and Hayden all playing together. They are all with two years of each other.
Austin loved hanging out with my cousin Lindsey.
Most of the kids sat together in the kitchen. It was pretty loud in there.
Ethan escaped to Grandpa's lap any time I wasn't watching him close enough.
After dinner and pie, I got to relax on the couch with my sister-in-law Lisa, my brother Kevin, and sister Lisa.
Kevin pulled out Spencer's motorcycle (Spencer's on his mission in Southern California) and he and my Dad gave all the grandkids rides around the neighborhood. Ethan loved going around with my Dad.
This was a common sight before we left to go back to Pasco.
Ethan sure loves his Papa.
We enjoyed our Thanksgiving holiday with my family. I was especially glad my Mom flew up and helped me make the drive to Utah. I wish Dan could have come with us but we knew we'd be back down in Utah again before flying to Texas for Christmas.
Driving back by myself wasn't so much fun. Between the windstorms, carsick kids, and bad snowstorms, I was really glad to make it home safely.

I love how light Austin's hair looks in the first headshot picture before the mullet. He looks so different than a baby. I can't believe he's almost 2!
