Cancun-Day 3

On Day 3, we had relaxing start. We'd finished the tourist and ruin sightseeing portion of our trip and we were able to just relax. We ate breakfast at the hotel's buffet breakfast, Dan and Cody took our rental car back and Lisa and I just hung out waiting for the guys to come back.

When the boys finally got back we took a bus downtown to a seafood resturant called El Shrimp Bucket. We got to eat right next to the water and the food was so fresh! After lunch, we headed back to the hotel and decided to try snorkeling out on the reef near the hotel. So we loaded up our gear and headed down the beach to a spot Lisa and Cody knew about.

The weather was a little overcast and windy so it wasn't as warm as the other days we'd been there. So the water wasn't as clear as it normally was and I was a little nervous about trying snorkeling for the first time in choppy water. It didn't turn out to be the most memorable experience for me. Dan got the hang out it but it was harder for me. We borrowed our snorkeling equipment from my parents but it didn't fit me very well. So we got in the water and it was really hard adjusting to the feel of breathing normal through a little tube, kicking your feet and looking straight down. In the end, I lost one of my flippers and called it a day.

I waited on the shore until the others were finished and we all went back to the hotel. We ended up getting ready and just playing games until dinner. We ate at the hotel and played more games afterward. Overall, it was a pretty chill day.
