Happy Halloween!

This year for Halloween, Ethan went as a lobster and Dan and I went as chefs! Since it was Ethan's 1st Halloween, I wanted the three of us to have family costumes that corresponded and this worked out great.   We even bought a huge pot and Ethan sat in it. He was the perfect size and he looked so cute!

He was such a good sport and was pretty happy just sitting in his pot. We put a pillow in the bottom so he was more comfortable.

On Saturday, we went to our ward's Halloween party and carved pumpkins. Everyone loved Ethan's costume!

We also celebrated Dan's 27th birthday this weekend. My whole family came up from SLC (Dan's family all live in TX and weren't able to come) and we had dinner, cake, and ice cream. We invited all the nieces and nephews to dress up in their Halloween costumes. It was great!

Clockwise from the left: Winnie the Pooh (Hayden), Tiger (Tucker), Hermione (Mckenna), Bumblebee (Halle), Candy Corn Witch (Aubrey), Lobster (Ethan), my sister-in-law Lisa, Bat (Blake), and Ironman (Parker). My other nephew, Cole, was a cowboy and more interested in wandering around and didn't make it into the picture.

It was fun to have all the family at our house. It was a bit loud and crowded but we had a good time and we appreciated everyone making the drive!

Dan and Cody still got to watch their afternoon football. Here they are indoctorinating their sons--

I made a pumpkin birthday cake for Dan (gluten-free, of course!), which turned out pretty good. Dan even got to blow out his candles--with a little help from Ethan who drooled on his arm.

I was laughing so hard looking at your Halloween costumes. That was such a great idea! Way to be creative! I can't believe how big your little guy is getting.
