Austin's Blessing Day

The last 2 weeks have been a whirlwind for our family! Dan's parents, Jim and Gloria flew in 2 weeks ago and his sister Jamie, her husband John, and their two girls Rebekah and Livia also flew in the day before Austin's blessing to spend a week with us.  We had so much fun with all of them in town! It was the first time my in-laws had met Austin and needless to say, he spent most of the last two weeks being held by his Texan family! 

Dan blessed our sweet little Austin on May 6th and he did a wonderful job! I felt so happy and light all day long. Austin is truly our little miracle and we are so grateful for all of our wonderful families and their support for us during the last few months.  After church, we invited everybody back to our apartment for lunch and treats. It was fun having all the cousins running around under foot and everybody talking and chatting!

We wanted to get a picture with all of my parents 11 grandkids and it turned out pretty good! Almost everybody was at least looking in the right direction!

Austin looked so cute in his little outfit. It was Dan's blessing outfit when he was a baby and we used it for Ethan's blessing as well. It's fun to have this outfit be such a tradition for our boys!
