Dan's work offered him a huge promotion to Operational Manager of their new terminal...in Pasco, WA. His company took on a new client and are opening a new terminal in the Tri-Cities area and offered Dan the chance to manage the 150 trucks and over 160 employees that will be based from there. In other words, a chance in a lifetime.
After a lot of thought, prayers, and consideration, we've decided to accept the job and move to Washington. We're sad to be moving away from so many friends and family but we feel like this is the place our family needs to be. Dan's work flew him up there last Monday to hold job fairs and get the office stuff straightened out. They flew me up on Wednesday and the two of us spent Thursday, Friday, and Saturday morning looking at almost two dozen homes with our awesome real estate agent.
We put an offer in on one Monday morning. Dan has to be up there at the beginning of April so the boys and I are busy packing and getting things ready for the move. Hopefully our house will close soon and we can move in!
