The week before Christmas, Dan and I found an apartment to move our family to before Little Brother gets here. It's right off 7200 S and much closer for Dan's drive to work. It's a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom brand new apartment and we are so excited to have a place for our family to grow! The boys will each get their own room and Dan and I are so excited for a master bedroom with a walk-in closet and separate bathroom. It was perfect timing for Christmas, so Dan and I splurged a little on a bedroom set and new couches as a gift for ourselves!
Other than moving to our new home, we've been able to enjoy Christmas time here in SLC. We've had plenty of Christmas parties with family and we've been able to get together with a lot of our friends over the holidays.
My siblings and Mom went in on a very nice concert piano bench for my Dad. He's pianist and musician and he's never had one before and he loved it. Ethan and my nephew Hayden helped him unwrapped his present.
Afterwards, we drove up to Snowbird Ski Resort and watched a Candlelight Procession of skiers coming down the mountain-ending with Santa Claus repelling out of the tram. Afterwards, my Dad and his friend who plays the saxophone play Christmas songs and there's a non-denominational Christmas service. My Dad has been playing for this event for several years now but this is the first time we've been able to attend. It was really pretty fun!
You can kinda see Santa repelling down from the Tram.
