4 Months Old

My sweet little Austin is growing so fast!

We went to the doctor for his check-up and once again, he's doing great! Doctor Dave said he doesn't have any problems with his lungs or heart! Every time I hear that it makes me so grateful! I love knowing that my little boy is okay!

Here's his stats!

H: 23 1/2 inches (10th percentile)

W: 12lbs 8oz. (10th percentile)

 Gosh, he sure is cute!!

Our doctor said that even though he's only in the 10th percentile for everything, he's following his own growth curve and is developing normally. Ethan was always in the 20th percentile at every check-up so we kind of expected it with Austin. Haha. I guess my kids got the short genes from me! 


Austin is still a major cuddlier and will snuggle into my arms after his bottles and before bedtime. He's great at holding his toys in both hands and stuffing them in his mouth. He loves going on our walks everyday and watching Ethan play next to him. He's so alert to everything that goes on around him. He's been sleeping through the night for several weeks now and goes to bed about the same time Ethan does at 7:30pm. I am getting to the point where I'll wake up on my own around 7:30am and wonder why I didn't hear him. Naptimes are still pretty fluid but he tries to take at least two naps a day for about 2-3 hours a piece. I lucked out with kids who are fantastic sleepers!


All in all, he's a very happy baby. He's always smiling and waving his arms at us or quietly studying our faces and expressions.  We sure love this little boy!!!
