Family Fun Day!

The church stake I grew up throws these awesome neighborhood "Family Fun Day" activities every year. They rent dunking booths, have free snow cones, ice cream and popcorn, face painting, a huge water slide, and tons of other activities and invite the whole neighborhood to come. It was a pretty fun tradition to grow up with and this year I got to share it with my boys!

Since Dan was at a YM's campout, I took Ethan and Austin and met up with my parents and my niece and nephew, Aubrey and Tucker for the day.Ethan loved all the fun activities they had for little kids. His favorite had to be the sandboxes though. They had 2 big plastic swimming pools full of sand and lots of shovels. The kids could dig in the sand and find little plastic coins and toy bugs.He loves playing with his shovel and pail at our apartment complex playground as well so this was icing on the cake. He is such a little boy and loves to get dirty.

This year, Family Fun Day included several giant bouncy houses and bouncy slides. Once Ethan discovered what these were he didn't want to leave.  Tucker and Aubrey jumped with him to make sure he didn't get run over by any other big kids in the bouncy houses and helped him get down the slides.

Ethan could barely walk in there but he had the biggest smile on his face, even when he was face-planting into the floor.

While Ethan was bouncing, Austin and I got to visit with old friends and neighbors. Austin loved sitting in his stroller and being pushed around over the bumpy grass. 

We went back to my parents house afterwards and Ethan and Tucker drove around in the little Jeep. Ethan loved it! 

We had a very fun day playing with Tucker, Aubrey, and Grandma and Grandpa Foster!
