Lots of boxes
Even more boxes
Austin had so much fun playing in the boxes
We ate quite a few meals like this after we took the table down.
The boys (Ethan, Austin, & Grandpa) thought the dolly carts were lots of fun to play with.
We stayed with my parents for Wednesday and Thursday night so we could clean out the apartment and leave early Friday morning. Well, early means around 11am at our house since Dan had to go in to his office and pick some stuff up before we left. So the boys and I met up with him on the road. We stopped in Burley, ID for lunch and Ontario, OR for dinner and later Friday night we arrived in Pasco.
Ethan and Austin actually did pretty well on the road. As long as I could reach extra toys and some snacks they were happy campers.
We spent Saturday getting settled into our temporary apartment. Dan's work found us a place to stay in a furnished corporate apartment that had a garage so we ended up unloading the moving truck right into the garage. Dan contacted the bishop of our new ward and several members and their boys came over to help us unload.
The apartment is in Richland, which is about 15 minutes from where our house is and only about 5 blocks from the Richland Temple. It's a nice apartment-3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, garage, plenty of room for the kids, a playground and pool, but I am so ready to not live in an apartment or any other temporary living place ASAP. We're still hoping for a mid- to late April for our move-in date.
So this week, we have had the chance to explore a little and spent some time at the park on the Columbia River, played at the field next to the church building next to the temple, shopped around a little and tried to get a little more familiar with our new home.
The boys are settling in well. Ethan constantly asks me if we made it to Washington and if we can go see Papa Foster, but Skype and phone calls are working great for him to see my family.
Austin loves toddling after Ethan throughout the apartment. He still holds on the furniture and the walls more often then not but he's getting more confident when he walks. The video is a little dark even though we had all the lights on but it's sure cute to watch Austin walk around with a big grin on his face.
Cute little thing!

I love how Ethan keeps popping in front of Austin. So cute. Glad you made it safely and are settling in a bit. That's got to be rough knowing it's only temporary. We'll talk soon - or skype!
