Ethan's 4th Birthday!

My little baby boy turned 4 on June 18th! I can't believe how big he's getting. He's such a sweet, mischievous, hilarious little boy with such a fun look on life! This was the second birthday of his that we've celebrated in our new home in Washington and we tried to make it special for him.

He's been telling anyone who would listen when his birthday is and what he wants for his birthday--

a battery for his Powerwheels 4-wheeler and a Transformers cake. 

Since building a Transformer out of cake is a little beyond my skill set, we compromised and made this awesome robot cake instead.

He loved it. 

Mostly because he could pull out all the candy and eat it. I caught him sneaking donut arms and legs for the next few days and I caught he and Austin climbing on the counter to eat all the M&M's.

We sang to him and he got to blow out his candles. 

 It took two tries and probably a little spit but he did it!

Austin waxed poetic about the deliciousness of chocolate cake.

Ethan was so excited about his presents and we put both his grandparents on Skype so they could see him open them too. 

He received toys (all Transformers), clothes (with robots on them), books (about Transformers), and the best birthday present ever....

A BATTERY!!!!

It was a wonderful birthday and Ethan loved all his presents! Thanks to everyone for the wonderful birthday wishes for Ethan!
