Dan flew in on my birthday after his 3-weeks training at Barbecue University for our Dickey's franchise. Three weeks was a long, long time to be apart and we were sooooo ready to have him home. The boys and I picked him up and celebrated by having a BBQ and birthday cake!
Dan sent me flowers even though he got home that evening.
I love getting flowers!
The boys wanted to wrap my birthday presents.
Yes, I knew what they were. Dan told me to go shopping...
Ethan and Austin were having so much fun with the tape and wrapping paper, I let them help me wrap them all. They also had fun helping me unwrap all the cute new clothes and shoes I got.
They helped me make cupcakes.
They were very dedicated helpers.
Everyone sang to me.
We'll just pretend that there were enough candles.
They helped me eat our wonderful chocolate cupcakes with pink lemonade frosting!
Austin waxed poetic about the delicious-ness that is frosting.
I love this guy!
Best husband/best friend/father in the world!!
And these guys!
I'm blessed to have such a wonderful family who always make me smile, are always there for me, always know what to say to cheer me up, and definitely made my last birthday in my twenties a huge success! I love you!

Um, I'm sure I knew this, but really, you are 29?! I swear you are only 26 or 27. Watch out, life goes downhill when you turn 30. Or at least mine did. You get terminal diseases, get fat and can't remember anything. Live it up now while you can in your 20's! Love ya sister!
