4th of July Weekend

Dan's parents, Jim and Gloria, came into town from Texas for the 4th of July and so we took a few days off of work to spend time with them and show them the beautiful areas in and around Logan. The day after they arrived, we went up to Bear Lake and had lunch and shopped at all the little stores.

We stopped and took pictures at Sunrise Point, which is just as you enter the Bear Lake Valley after Logan Canyon. You can see Bear Lake in the background. It is so blue!Dan and I like to drive up to Bear Lake on Sundays and look at all the cabins for sale. We even found one that we would love to have someday. It's a great location and has an amazing view off the porch!
We spent the whole day up at the lake just driving around and looking at the beaches and cabins and stopped for some of Bear Lake's Famous Raspberry Shakes! On our way back, we decided to stop at Ricks Spring in Logan Canyon. It's an underground spring that comes from a cavern.


You can see the water coming up in the center of the pool from a fissure at the bottom of the cave.
